Life!

Excited for the first snow of the year!!
Hailey and Daddy
Oh, did I forget to mention we got to go on a cruise! My mom watched Hailey and we had a whole week in the tropics. Heavenly!
Cruise again
My beautiful girl

I have decided to do a little update in case anyone still even looks at my blog! Right after I tried to get started again in June, we had a little surprise. I am pregnant! Exciting, yes, but I was very sick until October and then time just passes so quickly. We are expecting a little girl on February 9th. Her and Hailey will be exactly two years apart. It is a fun and exciting time of life, but exhausting chasing a toddler and being pregnant. Kellen is teching for Edge Pest Control for the winter and in the spring we have another big event. We are moving to Kansas City, Missouri to open a branch of Edge Pest Control. Kellen will be part-owner and branch manager. We are excited to be moving on in the career aspect of life. We will miss Colorado and be way too far from family, but it is a great opportunity. I will post a few pictures so you can see how big and how cute my little girl is! We are looking forward to Christmas and Kellen's brother's wedding in Vegas in a couple of weeks. Can't wait to be pregnant for all the lasting family pictures at the wedding!

A year!

Easter Egg Hunt
Us and Grandma Jones, she just turned 91 last week.
On a tractor in Dillon. Where else can you sit on a tractor?
Relaxing on the patio.

I guess it has been almost a year since my last post. Wow the time did fly. So I thought I would give an update since our little girl in now 16 months old!! We are still in Colorado and Kellen is still working for the pest control company. Hailey and I spend a lot of time together and she is loving the summer. She loves running around outside and looking at the bunnies that live wild around our apartment. She also loves playing out on the deck. She sits in her princess lawn chair and eats her snacks or helps me water the tomato plant with water from her little pool. We live right by the club house and she is always waving at the staff and maintenance people. She is just starting to talk and can say, "Dad," "Mom," "go," "up," "all done," "dog," "cat," "no," and a few more. She also is very smart and knows what most animals say or do. Her favorite is elephant and she puts her arm up by her head and makes an elephant noise. It is funny because we ask her what a bunny says and she sniffs her nose.
She is not too much of a troublemaker yet, but I always know when she is doing something she isn't supposed to because she is saying "no, no" and shaking her head while she is doing it. Hailey is still a tall and skinny thing, barely weighing in at 20 pounds. But anyone that knows her knows that she NEVER stops moving and burns more calories in a day than a normal person would in a month! I have lost 15 pounds since she started walking! Not bad I suppose, but I am exhausted by the time she goes to bed at night.
Well, enough about Hailey for now! Kellen and I are doing the same old thing again this summer and when you get a kid, basically your whole life revolves around what they are doing. I did get a new sewing machine and am attempting a few basic projects. And I mean really basic. I don't have that Grandma Jones talent for sewing! So that is about all for now!!!

First Father's Day

It was Kellen's first Father's Day this year. Hailey had a special Father's Day dress and she looked so cute. It was a good day! Sorry my entries are few and far between. We don't have internet right now so I have to go to the library to use the internet. Let's just say with a four month old baby I don't get much posted!

Colorado

A little Nintendo time

Visiting with Grandma Jones, who just turned 90.

My sweet girl

It has been a while since I have posted anything. Well, in the last month we have moved to Colorado. We are living in Parker, Colorado, a southeast suburb of Denver. Kellen is selling pest control again, but for a different company. It is called Edge Pest Control and was started by two of his friends from the other company he worked for. There is more opportunity to move up with this company. So we will be in Colorado for a few years. It is going really well and I am even making some friends! Hailey is getting so big and is still really cute. She is almost four months old. I can't even believe it. She is rolling over and loves to sit up with our help. Lately she has been fascinated with her feet and she just sits there and holds them. Just this morning I looked over and she had her feet in her mouth and was sucking on her big toe. I cracked up! So I will post a few pictures of Hailey and then take some of where we live so you can see that.

Hailey

Hailey has been so cute lately. She is starting to have such a fun personality. She just loves to lie on the floor and wiggle and smile. She is also getting so strong and every time you lay her down she pulls her head up and wants to try to sit up. I know every mom says this, but she is growing up so fast!

More Blessing Day Pictures

Blessing Day

Me and Hailey

She wasn't too happy when we were taking these.

Kellen, Hailey and I

On Sunday, we blessed Hailey in sacrament meeting at our church. She wore an old dress made by my great-grandma Williams. She looked beautiful and was such a good girl for it. All the men in the circle said she was wide awake just looking around at them. We had support from all our wonderful relatives and friends. After church we had a big dinner at Christine's house. The freeway to Utah ended up closing that afternoon and there were quite a few people stranded here for another night. It just made it more fun and we all sat around talking and playing games for the entire evening. It was a very fun weekend and we thank everyone for their love and support of our family.
