She is here!!!!!

We are so excited to welcome sweet baby Hailey Michelle Hildreth to our family! She was born on Wednesday, February 11th at 4:57 a.m. She weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. She is a good baby and we already love her so much. Her and I are both doing healthy and gettting stronger each day. The labor wasn't too bad and Kellen and I joke that I must have been born to breed. Contractions started around 10:30 on Tuesday night. Around 12:30 a.m. they were coming about 4 minutes apart for the last hour and we decide that it was the real thing and headed to the hospital in Butte, about 1 hour away. Things were progressing nicely and around 2:30 a.m. I got my epidural. Thank heavens for modern medicine!!! Kellen and I just hung out for a few more hours and after about 30 minutes of pushing, she was here! Our doctor and the hospital staff were wonderful. We were very tired though. We only had about 1 hour of sleep in 48 hours. We came home on Thursday afternoon and have spent the last week adjusting to having a new baby in our home. She is very happy and content and is even pretty good at night. My mom has been here to keep me company and help us out. It is nice to have someone else do the dishes and cook! Kellen is a very good dad and a proud father!
